Ad-hoc connections
Section titled “Ad-hoc connections”Quick Connect takes a plain user@host (optionally user@host:port) and connects immediately
— no profile setup. It’s the fastest path for one-off connections and new machines.
From ad-hoc to saved
Section titled “From ad-hoc to saved”If a Quick Connect target turns out to be a keeper, save it as a profile afterwards — the connection details carry over, and you can add a key, folder and appearance settings.
Searching saved servers
Section titled “Searching saved servers”The Quick Connect field doubles as fuzzy search over your saved profiles, so it’s also the keyboard-first way to open a server you already saved.
